It’s been a stinky start to the year – the details of which I don’t really need to go into. Anyway I think I must be a bit on edge and knocked for six by all the death and destruction surrounding us at the moment…
Our cat William has been coughing, quite badly, for days now and this morning MiAmore took him off to the vets to be checked out. He arrived back, minus William. :O
My mind immediately went to some awful place with thoughts like ‘it was cancer, it had gone to his lungs, the kindest thing to do …’ so when my husband said:
‘they can’t find anything obvious but are keeping him in to do that chipped canine tooth’ … well I burst into tears of relief.
Yes, so … William is coughing and we don’t know why but it appears there is nothing to worry about.
William is having his broken canine tooth removed today – a problem that was noticed in about July last year… Something that we’ve made appointments to get sorted … and then the dirty little stop-out has gone on lengthy walkabouts for days on end.
There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with that right front leg that he favours … the one that causes him to limp.
Hmmm…Why would he be limping, do you think? ……….Quit the ‘roof walking’ William! And that goes for your brother too!!

Stuck on the pergola, mewling, tender foot raised. He’d walked across the slippy, icy roof tiles to get to this point. :O
(To my photographer friends: The funky monkey colour on this shot was the only way I could easily retrieve a chronically bad snapshot, shooting straight into a glaring white, snow-laden sky. Thanks to Brian Wheeler for his freebie Lightroom presets, this can go into the family album instead of straight to bin).

I am glad to hear that William’s issue was not serious. Oh if he could only tell stories about his adventures… Enjoy your weekend AC.
