Dexter

Hands up anyone else who is watching and loving ’Dexter’ on TV.  For anyone who hasn’t yet come across this series, Dexter Morgan is a blood spatter expert working for the Miami police department.  He is also a serial killer and hard though it may be to believe, you actually find yourself liking Dexter - crazy but true.  

The writing and plotlines are wonderful but the opening titles are also a treat in themselves, cleverly filmed and put together to make even the simple act of getting ready for the day and preparing breakfast look menacing.  I wasn’t altogether surprised therefore to find this morning that they were awarded an Emmy in 2007.  

We here in the UK are only on season 2, which is great in a way, because I also found out this morning that we have a further three seasons to look forward to.  Goodee!
